Lynda Taft Fawcett

Hi! I am Lynda Taft Fawcett, owner of Fawcett Tax Service. I have been a professional tax preparer for 40 years. I began my professional journey with H&R Block, and over my 12 years with H&R Block, I completed all of their Basic and Advanced Training classes. I was part of the back-office team that implemented the electronic filing process in 1988! I started Fawcett Tax Service in 1994, and have been preparing personal, small business, and small non-profit tax returns for the last 30 years!

I can prepare tax returns for all US States.

I am registered with CTEC (California Tax Education Council) as a CRTP (California Registered Tax Preparer). You can check my credentials and education at www.CTEC.org.

I am also registered with the IRS as a member of the AFSP (Annual Filing Season Program), a voluntary program designed to encourage tax return preparers to participate in continuing education (CE) courses. Preparers who complete the AFSP are included in a public database for taxpayers to use in searching for qualified tax return preparers. The Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers with Credentials and Select Qualifications only includes attorneys, certified public accountants (CPAs), enrolled agents, enrolled retirement plan agents (ERPAs), enrolled actuaries, and individuals who have received an Annual Filing Season Program – Record of Completion. Annual Filing Season Program participants have limited representation rights, meaning they can represent clients whose returns they prepared and signed, but only before revenue agents, customer service representatives, and similar IRS employees, including the Taxpayer Advocate Service.
